OOH LA LA have slammed their way into the Top 20 ARIA Charts at No.20 and the V Energy independent charts at No.5 with their invigorating track “Chop the Mutha Down” from their EP of the same name.
This Sydney 4 piece are gathering a growing army of fans following their storming live shows. No doubt in part to front man Simon Meli’s super sweet rock n’ soul vocals that simply ooze onto the high octane Hammond drenched slabs of power. They’ve already played The Pete’s Ridge Festival and The Great Escape but are equally at home in small intimate venues, their music leaving you no option but to pull shapes!!!

Comparisons can be made to the great soul/ rock bands of the 60’s and 70’s, such as The Faces or Booker T Jones with the grunt of ACDC. Recently try thinking Wolfmother meets Jet with a whole lotta extra soul and love. Their music is as sharp as their image and their four track EP is in stores now.
